Following standard procedures, the Toolroom Attendant will maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies; dispense materials to students, maintain areas in a clean and orderly fashion; assist faculty and School office with ordering materials; make minor repairs to tools and equipment. Perform general housekeeping/custodial duties primarily in the Capital Eatery. This position will be required to work during delays and snow closure days that may fall on scheduled workdays. This position will be required to work overtime on short notice to include evenings, weekends, special events and call ins at the discretion of the appropriate supervisor. Additional hours with little or no prior notice may be required.
The work schedule is as follows: On Friday and Saturday, the shift starts at 8:30 p.m. and ends at 5:00 a.m., with a 1-hour lunch break. On Sunday, the shift runs from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., also including a 1-hour lunch break.
Following the service manual this person will serve as waitstaff for the Le Jeune Chef restaurant and for special catered events.
This person will assist with all aspects of maintenance throughout College facilities. Occasional overtime often on short notice may be required. This position works 18-20 hours during the Academic Calendar and can work up to 37.5 hours during summer only.
This position qualifies for summer on-campus housing, which will be considered a taxable benefit. Students must adhere to all Residence Life policies and guidelines while living on campus.
