Pennsylvania College of Technology is hosting an Employment Open House and Job Fair on Wednesday, July 8 from 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM. The event will take place in the Dave Jane Gilmour Center (DJG). This event will focus on opportunities within Dining Services and General Services, with onsite interviews.  We have both part-time and full-time positions available.

Previous experience in food service, cleaning, custodial services, hospitality, or customer service is helpful but not required for many positions.

Available positions may include responsibilities such as:

• Assisting customers and providing excellent service
• Preparing, serving, and stocking food items
• Cleaning and sanitizing dining, kitchen, and public areas
• Washing dishes, equipment, and service items
• Maintaining campus buildings and facilities
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and general housekeeping
• Supporting special events and campus operations
• Working collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and visitors

These positions involve active work throughout the day and may require:

• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Reaching, bending, stooping, lifting, and carrying materials
• Working in kitchen, dining, custodial, or facility environments
• Lifting and moving supplies, equipment, or materials
• Working safely in a fast-paced environments
• Lifting requirements vary by position.

💵 Dining Services Positions: Starting at $15.49/hour Custodial Positions: Starting at $15.98/hour Plus a $1.00/hour shift differential for eligible afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts.
