The Bartender/Concessionaire, under the direction of the Coordinator of Guest Services, will mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and serve pre-packaged snacks on an as needed basis for events. Must be able to accommodate flexible work hours, including evenings andweekends.

EDUCATION

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent. Required

EXPERIENCE

• Six (6) months of bartending experience. Required
• Previous experience working with public in a service environment. Required

ABILITIES AND SKILLS

• Ability to work effectively with people. Required
• Ability to make change and maintain cash in safe/secure manner while waiting on patrons. Required
• Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with patrons. Required
• Knowledge of PLCB laws and regulations. Required
• Knowledge of mixology for traditional and creative cocktails. Required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure. Required
• Knowledge of computerized register or ability to be trained to use accurately. Required
• Demonstrated sensitivity to diversity and multicultural issues. Required
• Ability to work without close supervision. Required
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation procedures. Preferred

 

Verify identification and age requirements of patrons.

Mix traditional and creative cocktails.

Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift.

Process payment from customers.

Clean glasses and bar utensils.

Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must have neat and clean grooming and hygiene habits.

$12.75 per hour.
